Victoria Reid, MS

(she/her)

Victoria (she/her) earned her Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from The University at Albany. She has experience working in inpatient as well as outpatient settings. To ensure that each client’s individual needs are being met, Victoria uses an eclectic approach including but not limited to Person Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), and Trauma-informed care (TIC). 

 

Victoria is passionate about using her own lived experience to empathize with her clients and better understand their point of view. She strives to create a trusting, safe, and comfortable environment that is free of judgment and challenges you to grow in new ways. She specializes in trauma, eating disorders, sports performance, perfectionism, relationships, identity, and LGBTQIA+ related issues. However, she is open to working with anyone who is willing to commit to the therapeutic process and collaboratively work together to achieve their goals and be the most authentic version of themselves they would like to be.
